How To Start A Successful YouTube Channel And Make Money

In this post, I will explain step by step process of how to make a youtube channel and upload videos on that channel.

In 2021 starting a youtube is a very good idea and there are a lot of YouTubers making a hell of a lot of money by simply uploading their videos.

Starting a YouTube channel is a little bit similar to starting a blog. In 2021 or future days. If you are thinking of starting a YouTube channel then it is an awesome idea. If you are thinking to earn from youtube this is also good. In 2021 if you are planning this awesome idea then you should be clear about some basic and advanced points about starting a Youtube channel.

If you dive into the sea or any river without knowing its depth it will be a silly act. If you invest in the stock market without understanding the situation of the market then you are at high risk.

‘To be successful in any field you should take a risk’. This is the right statement but incomplete. The most successful peoples are those who take risks but they take only calculated risk. Calculated risk means almost no risk or smart way of doing business.

There are some basic techniques or strategies that drive more views and subscribers on your youtube channel which I will tell later but for now, Let’s create a youtube channel.

To create a youtube channel You should have at least 4 things:

A Gmail Account
Video content
A computer/Laptop/Mobile phone
Internet connection/wifi

Why Gmail Account?->You need a Gmail account to make a youtube channel so that You can receive notifications and the latest updates from youtube on your Gmail account. If you don’t have a Gmail Account create a Gmail account from here. Creating a Gmail account is very easy.

Why Video Content?-> You must have some videos to upload on your youtube channel. These videos might be related to your interest or people’s interest, or your camera recordings or these videos that you created on your computer or cooking recipes, teaching videos, and many other things.

Why Computer or Mobile?->You need a computer or mobile to create a youtube channel and make money. If you want to edit your videos to looks better then you can use video editing software on your computer or mobile. So one of these devices is necessary if you want to make a youtube channel.

Why Good Internet?-> We need a good internet connection to make a youtube channel and upload our videos on youtube.

With these 4 tools, you can start your youtube channel and many YouTubers are doing an awesome job on youtube.

Now Let’s create a channel step by step:

Step 1.

First of all, Open Your Chrome browser and make sure that you are logged in to your Gmail account on the top right corner of your chrome browser.

Step 2.

Type youtube.com in the search bar and enter. Now you have a youtube website opened and top right corner you can see your Gmail profile icon, simply click on that. Now click on Create A Channel button.

Step 3.

You can choose 2 ways to create your channel. One is using your Gmail account name or custom name for your youtube channel. We choose a custom name.

Step 4.

Now give a suitable channel name. Checkmark on the I understand option and click on CREATE. Then It will show verify your account page. Just enter your phone number, check the mark Text Message (SMS) option, and click Continue.

Step 5.

Now you have received a verification code to your phone via SMS. Check that and enter on the screen and click continue. To upload your profile picture simply click on that icon and choose from your device. Scroll down and enter the channel description. If you have any website you can also link there. But it is not mandatory. Now click Save And Continue.

Step 6.

Now Here you can see your YouTube channel name successfully created. It’s time to upload your first video. So simply click on the UPLOAD VIDEO button. Now Click on SELECT FILES and Choose your desired video from your device. It will take some time to upload your video according to its size and your internet speed. Now its time to fill in some detail about this video

Step 7.

Give it a suitable Video Title, Video Description, and right thumbnail. (It may ask to verify your phone number to use thumbnail feature simply verify your phone number as same as before and there will be no problem uploading your custom thumbnail) Scroll down on the audience section have 2 options. check Yes, it’s made for kids if your video is for kids otherwise check No, it’s not made for kids. In my case, I will choose No.

Click on Show More Section and put some tags separated by a comma. Choose a category & click Next, Next, and on the Visibility, section check on Public and Click on PUBLISH.

Step 8.

Congratulation!! You have successfully published your first video on youtube.

Step 9.

Here is your dashboard where you can delete, share or manage your uploaded videos. You can also do this from youtube studio which gives a better experience for a YouTuber.
